Watching the Olympics kind of makes me wish I could actually participate in a sport. Cheering for my fave athletes is still so fun and satisfying though, and the performances were just inspiring.
Looking forward to the Closing Ceremonies, it'll be bittersweet.

So ecstatic, the Olympic Opening Ceremony is in 6 hours! I've been smiling all day, my parents asked me why and I just said OLYMPICS! Though it seems like I'm the only person whose excited for this, at least among the people I know. I also heard on the news that Canadians have a waning interest in the Olympics, which I think is a bit disappointing. I've watched as much of the Olympics Trials for Canada and the US that I could: the Canadians only showed swimming on TV. The Americans however broadcast: diving, athletics, gymnastics, and swimming, and some others I didn't catch. Just something I wish Canada was more involved in.
My excitement over the Olympics almost made me forget about my horrible experience at my diploma yesterday.
I just have one more thing to say: OLYMPICS!
